Rates & policies

1. If you have to cancel a lesson for any reason, please do so at least 24 hours in advance (via text, email, or phone). Canceling a day or more beforehand gives me the chance to reschedule that time--which not only helps me, but may also help you in the future as well! 

2. In the event that you must cancel with less than 24 hours' notice (i.e., same-day cancellation), there are two options:  Either (a) we can try to make-up your lesson sometime in the same calendar week, wherever there might be an opening in my schedule; or, (b) failing that, we'll count the lesson scratched as a same-day cancellation. In such cases, there is a nominal same-day cancel fee to recoup part of the lost time (beginner lessons = $25 fee; intermed lessons = $35 fee).

3. In the exceedingly rare case of a 'no-call, no-show' (i.e., you miss your lesson without texting or calling beforehand), just pay as soon as you realize you missed--then get in touch to confirm your next lesson ;)

4. Finally, if you have a 'prime-time' weekday time-slot (i.e., Mon-Fri, 4-8pm) and frequently end up having to cancel your lesson (even with sufficient notice), I will likely need to move your lesson-time to an hour with less demand.
